For the Arôme Restaurant’s Chef, Jean-Michel Pagès, cuisine is a great journey. The menu is a beautiful example of his experiences and discoveries around the world, all of which have helped him to find the inspiration to create new dishes. 

A mixture of tastes or seasoning: fish and Mediterranean produce join forces with ginger, lemongrass, soya and wasabi. Unique gourmet creations in a varied menu of meat dishes and, above all, fish dishes, the restaurant’s specialty.

Culinary identity
 

In this true gourmet stopover in Bonnieux, Jean-Michel Pagès focuses his attention on seasonal fruit and vegetables. He likes to choose his produce directly from the market and works with the very best farmers: duck from the Gers and poultry from Ain.  

His love for cuisine can be seen through his participation in associations such as the “Académie Nationale de Cuisine” and “Les Disciples d’Escoffier”. This investment was recently rewarded with the title of “Maître Restaurateur”.

The Chef works every day with a team of enthusiasts. Every season, their know-how and experience help to offer, new dishes and genuine creations. Cuisine is a passion, but also a question of teamwork, something which can be found in the quality of the Arôme Restaurant’s facilities and service.

Clara Pagès, Jean-Michel’s wife, works alongside her husband every day. As the restaurant manager, she devotes great importance to welcoming each guest with a smile and advising them. In the dining room, she knows how to innovate with her team by offering certain ways of preparing the fish.
